I am a Consultant in IBM's GBS Public Sector. I have been with IBM over four years. Fortunately, I applied and was accepted into IBM’s Corporate Service Corp (CSC) Program this summer. The CSC was launched to help provide IBMers with high quality leadership development while delivering high quality problem solving for communities and organizations in emerging markets. I am documenting my experiences with the program to benefit, and hopefully also entertain, past, current, and future CSC participants. Karen Goes East: Adventures with IBM's CSC Program
Even though I’m still not feeling great, I had to suck it up because today was the big day! We had our final presentation first thing this morning. The attendees were Pak Dudi, Ibu Latifah, Pak Purnomo, Pak Asep, Imke, Waya from ABV, Prima our translator, and our team.
Everyone was engaged and interested in our findings and recommendations even though the presentation lasted a little over two hours! At the end Pak Dudi remarked that it was “excellent”. I would call that positive feedback!

As a celebration, the team went to lunch together at an authentic Sudanese restaurant. Everyone raved about the food and I especially enjoyed the banana juice!
We still have some close-out activities to wrap up, but overall our assignment is almost complete!
